Hello Fellow Writers!

It's time to "tell all" of the good news going on this month in our RWA chapter.

Dee Gatrell has entered the FAB 5 2008 Wisconsin RWA Contest with her Women's Fiction entitled, "Home Sweet Home". We're keeping our fingers, toes and legs crossed for those good vibes going Dee's way. For the courage of entering, a slice of chocolate triple-layer cake with fudge frosting topped with a maraschino cherry goes out to her.

Glo Ferguson has sent her first chapter to Harlequin Presents, First Chapter & Synopsis Instant Seduction competition on-line of "Casino Owner's Bartered Bride". Everyone, keep the 'good thoughts' flowing for a positive response. For the courage of sending, Glo gets a hot fudge sundae.

Trish Wentling has sent two non-fiction short stories and a Christmas poem to Chicken Soup for the Soul Books on-line. Also, I've entered the Northwest Indiana RWA Chapter contest, "Grand Beginnings" with the first five pages of Tiger Love via email. I'm holding my breath for at least one minute. For the courage of sending them out, I'm treating myself to a big dish of chocolate pudding with a dollop of Cool Whip and two asprins.
